Established in 1980 under the initial name of SIBCO Inc., our company has been given the opportunity to grow and develop during historical moments of democratic changes in countries throughout the World. As the “Number One” U.S. exporter group to the Balkan region (per U.S. Department of Commerce 1996) we received four “Presidents Awards” and two “Service of Excellence” Awards.

 

Following the economic changes in Europe and based on the strong U.S. dollar abroad, we established ourselves as a strong distributor of luxury automobiles, service, spare parts and tools based on agreements with German suppliers in Frankfurt, Munich, Stuttgart and Bremerhaven, we achieved top sales for Daimler Benz products in the Washington, D.C. region.  In 1984 we joined forces with Embassy Motors Inc., which helped us expand our automotive market from Northern Virginia into the expensive Washington suburb of Rockville, Maryland.  Following the U.S. constant changes for environmental protection, in partnership with Embassy Motors we established an EPA Automotive Testing Laboratory, officially licensed, and approved by the U.S. Federal Government. Directly involved with the designed and set up, we negotiated the order and purchase of the most sophisticated test equipment from the California manufactures as; ACS, Inc. and Clayton Dynamometers, totaling over $850,000.00.  In 1985 the company added a new division for automobile leasing and rental, with services covering the United States East Coast.

 

Being aware of the major political changes in Eastern Europe and based on official request by the Bulgarian Government in year 1989, using the products of Adamatic Manufacturing, (division of Hobart Industries) the company completed a sales contract for U.S. bakery equipment totaling over $7,000,000.00 in U.S. exports to the democratically inclined Bulgarian Government. 

 

During the Iraq war in 1991 we participated in formulating the strategy for participation of the Republic of Bulgaria in the coalition forces headed by the United States, directly working with the Bulgarian President.

 

During 1991 through 1994, per request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republic of Bulgaria, working in partnership with BDM / TRW (now Northrop Grumman), Crown International designed a nationwide police vehicle monitoring system, providing information of the actual location, ownership data, chassis and registration number as well as advanced trajectory of the moving patrol vehicles.

 

Seeking growth in diversification and achieving the acquisition of Crown Leasing and Rental Company, in year 1992 we incorporated under the name of Crown International. 

The merger with Crown Leasing and Rental Company has expended our company versatility to the rental and leasing business of motor vehicle for the immediate Washington, D.C. area. Crown International Incorporated has held a license in good standing with Virginia Department of Motor Vehicle for daily passenger rental cars since March 1st of 1993.

 

Since its beginning Crown International, has acquired special trade advantages with one of the largest U.S. East Coast tire distributor Merchants Incorporated, which has given us the exclusive opportunity for best prices on tires as Firestone, General, Uni-Royal, Continental, Michelin, Kuhmo, Kelly and Bridgestone. Our many years of experience have given satisfaction to large number of U.S. customers, where our international exports have extended to major dealers in the European Balkan region.

 

Being well diversified and politically connected with the newly established democracy in that country, the same year Crown International Incorporated establish itself as one of the major U.S. exporters to the Country of Bulgaria, based on large transportation equipment sales agreement.  As the official distributor for Blue Bird Buses and Cummins Engines, the company accomplished sales, exciding $8,000,000.00 covering the delivery of 97 buses, and containers of spare parts exported to the Country of Bulgaria.  With the inclusion of GM passenger car distribution, Crown International Incorporated has became the Number One U.S. Exporter Group to the Country of Bulgaria for the three consecutive years 1993, 1994, and 1995 (per official announcement by the U.S. Department of Commerce). Based on Crown’s Distributorship Agreement with General Motors, the company achieved sales of over $6,000.000 with the most popular models as Cadillac STS, Pontiac Bonneville, Pontiac Grand Am, Oldsmobile Aurora, Oldsmobile Sierra, Chevrolet Lumina Van, Chevrolet Blazer 4 x 4 and Saturn.

 

Most of our Blue Bird bus shipments were initiated from the Port of Jacksonville, Florida, using the services of Hoegh-Ugland Auto Liners A/S.  All shipments of GM products were initiated from the Port of Baltimore, Maryland using Walleneus Lines.  

 

After acquisition and development of a site within the Industrial Section of the city of Manassas, Virginia in 1995 Crown moved in to our newly constructed $1,500,000.00 facility where we established our world headquarters and invested over $500,000.00 into the production of CMC electric vehicles, and become the manufacturer of electric forklifts and trucks of the future.  Senator Charles Colgan with honored guests Delegate Harry Parrish and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Prince William County, Virginia, Kathleen Seefeldt, hosted the ceremonies for the grand opening. The U.S. press officially publicized the event.

 

In December of 1995 Crown International Incorporated was officially granted the rights for exporting oil products and lubricants to the Balkan region, as a direct distributor for the US based Shell Oil Company, Houston, Texas.  The sales rights to Crown International Incorporated extended to any automotive oil products and Shell Industrial Lubricants such as complete line of high quality circulating oils, compressor lubricants-synthetic and mineral oils, versatile gear oils and reliable hydraulic oils as Shell Tellus, which by independent tests prove their overall performance superiority.

 

During the year of 1996, based on its proven ability to perform with high achievements in the Balkan region, Crown International Incorporated became an Official Franchised Dealer and International Distributor for Cummins Diesel Engines and Onan Electric Power Generators for the Northern Virginia area including the Washington International Dulles Airport and South Eastern Europe. The Franchised Agreement signed on March 12, 1996 has given our company the level of most sophisticated electronic parts ordering system, ownership record keeping, warranty and maintenance information.

 

During 1997 Crown International Incorporated started the evaluation of the political and business environment in Republic of Macedonia. Expending our representation in the Balkans our company established a branch in the city of Skopje. In cooperation with the SECI mission in the region, Crown conducted extensive study of the economic and security environment within the Republic of Macedonia. Based on the gathered information in 1998, Crown International Incorporated presented the newly elected Government of the Republic of Macedonia with proposal for Economic Recovery Program, founding the prosperity of the economy on safe, secure, local and expended international trade environment.  The program was depicted in 11 major parts covering National Security, Local Manufacturing, Rail Road Infrastructure, Metallurgical Industry, Energy Production, and International Investments Financing.

 

With proven extensive international experience in strategic business planning, manufacturing and operations, with exclusive knowledge of the economies within the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Crown International Incorporated acted many times as adviser to the governments of the countries in the Balkan region, concerning economic and security issues. Using its international financial experience, Crown participated in designing and presentations for international financing with the World Bank, EBRD, U.S. Ex-Im Bank, and Chase Manhattan. Financing for the countries of Ivory Coast and Mali where initiated based on presentations prepared by our company and confirmed with Letter of Interest from Ex-Im Bank. 

 

Per official request of the Government of Macedonia in 1998 Crown designed and introduced full Economic Development Program to the Office of the Prime Minister of Republic of Macedonia. Based on the existing conditions in the region, a full priority was given to the first part of the Program – the National Security Project, covering strategic enhancement of the Police border control. Per direct orders of the Prime Minister, Crown International Incorporated designed, arranged for U.S. government financing through Export-Import Bank of the United States in the amount of $13,000,000.00 and implemented the National Security Project for Republic of Macedonia during the years of 2000–2001. Our company has received full support for this Project directly from President Clinton and the White House. Following our Economic Development Program, we helped Republic of Macedonia receive U.S. Grants as: $4,200,000.00 of feed corn (two 20,000 tons shipments) under program 416-B with the U.S. Department of Agriculture; $22,000,000.00 of U.S.A.I.D. funds for direct economic assistance; $1,050,000.00 of U.S.A.I.D. funds to Ministry of Internal Affaires for telecommunications; $1,500,000.00 for special police training under ISATAB program with U.S. Marshals; and $5,000,000.00 from the Pentagon for munitions, much needed to fight the terrorist groups in the western borders.

 

Following the successful implementation of the Macedonian National Security Project, in 2002 Crown International was officially invited by the Mayor in City of Moscow, Mr. Yuri Lushkov, for the purpose of designing program for surveillance and protection of terrorist attacks, covering the city of Moscow and its suburbs, using financing offered by Export-Import Bank of the United States (project cost of $25,000,000). In connection to this project Crown participated in establishing the strategy for predicting and responding to terrorist attacks, working closely with the Russian specialty law enforcement groups.

 

With reference to the Moscow Security Project and based on official request from the President’s office of Republic of Tatarstan, Crown International designed National Security Project supported by Export-Import Bank of the United States, for surveillance and control of the City of Kazan totaling $15,000,000.00. Our Preliminary Contract with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republic of Tatarstan was signed on October 1st 2002, which included the implementation of the most sophisticated security network combining ground, water and air control with interactive video and telecommunications, with backup power supplies provided by Cummins Onan Generators.

 

Based on financing proposed by the Ex-Im Bank, Crown has worked in Republic of Uzbekistan for several years for implementation of a National Security Program covering three projects: “Surveillance and Prevention of Terrorist Attacks for the City of Tashkent” with value of $20 Million Dollars, Telecommunication Project for 7.7 Million Dollars with the State Customs Committee and “X-Ray Vision Control of all Border Crossings” with value of $200 Million Dollars, incorporating technology from SAIC.

 

Understanding the importance of being ahead in the protection from terrorist attacks and cyber threats, we are constantly updating our technology keeping leading edge in providing the most sophisticated systems at time of implementation. For best protection of countries, regions, cities, or private property, we are combining modern computer technology with day and night surveillance on land, air, and water, implementing the best available face recognition software with a wide variety of options of database information, electronic finger printing and iris recognition, capable of designing and building a complete surveillance security network with separate levels of control and fully independent backup power supplies provided by Cummins Onan Generators. In connection to any security projects Crown can offer a variety of personal combat protection, explosive detection kits and robotic defense and explosives disengagement. Specialty transportation with different armoring levels with interactive video monitoring and digital recording is available for special projects. When air surveillance is required all information exchanged wirelessly is protected by high encryption coding where video signal from a piloted or remote controlled helicopters may be engaged by very sophisticated color video and infrared cameras and heat sensors, where the image is filtrated through digital stabilizers and recorded digitally in two levels, air and ground.

 

In 2004 Crown International partnered with Can West Trican Transoil LLC and engaged the official worldwide distribution of Russian Crude Oil (REBCO). Using its solid political connections in Russia and Kazakhstan, our company received an official direct allocation for sale and delivery of Russian Export Blend Crude Oil as confirmed by the Russian Chamber of Commerce. Based on its exceptional performance in 2005 Crown’s Russian Export Oil allocation was increased to include finished products as Diesel and Lubricants. The same year Crown executed direct sales to “Gulf Baarsjes B. V.” Amsterdam for 50,000 m/t of D-2 Gasoil per month, which included an increase of 200,000 m/t before the end of the year. Throughout the years the Crown group has chartered Vessels from China, Italy, Russia and Greece using its agents as Laleman and Nolarma Cargo S.r.l., John S. Connor and T. Parker Host.

 

During 2005-2006 Crown International expended the REBCO, D-2 and Mazut 100 distribution, using its world partners based on contracts with CNPC-China, Interzhil Services – Belgium, Machinery OY – Finland, Farm World Exports Inc. – USA, Independent Petroleum AG – Liechtenstein, Petroleum Authority of Thailand (PTT) International Trading – Singapore and others.

 

Considering the priorities of our Planet Environmental issues and after careful evaluation of the available technologies for Municipal Waste Treatment, in 2006 Crown International signed an agreement for international distribution and implementation of the PyroGenesis Plasma Waste to Energy technology (successfully used by the US Navy since 2007) using GE gas generators to produce electricity from alternative sources. Since that time Crown has introduced environmental projects using the Plasma Technology in Republic of Macedonia, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Turkey and Georgia. All such projects were designed and presented based on using US government financing through Export-Import Bank of the United States. In Republic of Bulgaria and Republic of Turkey the Ministry of Environment has fully approved and supported the use of the

 

Waste to Energy PyroGenesis Technology. In Bulgaria our company has signed 4 Preliminary Implementation Agreements, directly with Municipalities interested in conversion of their Municipal Waste to electricity with options to produce Synthetic Diesel Fuel. Further introduction and presentation of the technology was made to the Capital Sofia and 22 Bulgarian Municipalities.

 

Working closely with General Electric has given Crown the opportunity to introduce Power Generating Projects in Bulgaria and Turkey, including alternative electricity production from Solar Panels, Wind Generators and Hydro Electric Plants. As official franchised distributor for Cummins/Onan generators, Crown International has always been a primary introducer of the US made Backup Power Electricity Generating System.
